Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year

Dydh da (hello in Cornish)
Well, it has been a very cold week. Wearing my other professional hat, I work as a Business Manager for a local quarry. That’s quite a grand title in fact there is only me in the office and I am the only woman among a group of stonemasons. The granite quarry is one of the oldest working quarries in Cornwall and as you can imagine this week has gone from cold to freezing and dusty (always dusty). It is not clamorous. We live in steel toe-capped boots, 3 jumpers and over the last week, thermal vests.
Not everyone’s cup of tea but I love it.
With regards to my patterns, I have today managed to finish my new Penrose the Panda pattern and I will be uploading his pattern this week. Then I’m going to stop for Christmas ad prepare the house for my children’s return from University.
I’m looking forward to 2023 as I build up my pattern collection and develop my small business organically and I have started to think about Easter bunnies. Too soon. Yes perhaps.
May I wish you all a Merry Christmas - Nadelik Lowen (Cornish from my homeland) - Nollaig Chridheil (scot Gaelic from my motherland)
